I got the keys to Unit 11 on February 1st and a small team consisting of myself, my DIY expert boyfriend, a very knowledgeable band member and a mate who’s labour can be bought with beer got straight to work at turning this empty industrial unit into a music studio. After working through countless weekends, nipping in for a coat of paint before work, laying a bit more carpet after work, not to mention the small matter of a worldwide pandemic thrown in the middle for good measure, we are FINALLY as of 6th July OPEN! I am so pleased with the result, incredibly proud of what we have achieved and am forever grateful for everyone who came in and leant a hand along the way!
